Head of Design
Discors News was a mobile app featuring a subscription to curated news and analysis from a diverse set of paywalled publications. Our editorial team curated and crafted 10-20 stories each day.
Every story led with primary sources and reporting from AFP, AP, and Reuters, followed by background cards to give readers context from primary sources. Finally, insights directly from our publishing partners would provide context to the news around the world. Our publishing partners included The New York Times, The Economist, Washington Post, National Review, Newsweek, Cato Institute, The Hoover Institution, Financial Times, and more.
I was the first hire and led design throughout the company's life. We were part of Matter VC’s 6th cohort, which included taking part in their 20-week design thinking accelerator.
